Some time has passed since Interstellar came to the scene.It was well received by critics and audience alike.Many movies suffer from bad Metascores; Interstellar is not one of them.
Interstellar is set in the far future.A scarcely populated US is in focus.Nearly all of the human population has been lost to some non-disclosed event.The remaining people shift all their focus to agriculture in the hope of having plenty in the case of some calamity but sadly things don’t go as planned.
In the wake of a gloomy future ahead, some astronauts are sent into space to explore the possibility of colonizing some other planet in another galaxy. What follows is a fast-paced mind bending and time dilating adventure set in outer space.
I won’t go into the details of the journey for I don’t want to spoil the fun for you but rest assured you are not going to get bored during the 169 minutes long movie.
I loved the way the movie depicted all the time dilation.What I read I saw for ‘real’ in Interstellar.Except for the ending, most of the movie is pretty consistent with science (Read more below).
Hard choices are made and sacrifices sought in the epic Interstellar that leaves one with more questions than answers.The plotholes do sour the experience a little but if you don’t think a lot about the plot it will work for you quite well.
